Mumbai: NCP (SP) supremo Sharad Pawar met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday and discussed several issues, including those concerning sugar factories.
According to reports, topics such as irrigation, milk prices, and sugar factories were discussed during the meeting held at the state government guest house Sahyadri in Malabar Hill area.
On Sunday, Amit Shah addressed a BJP conclave in Pune, Maharashtra. As per reports, Shah also held meetings with the bosses of sugar factory cooperatives and others.
A senior BJP official informed the Free Press Journal that at least six top barons of Maharashtra’s sugar cooperative sector met Amit Shah on Sunday morning.
