New Delhi, May 4, 2026: IFFCO-MC Crop Science Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s leading crop protection companies, has announced the appointment of Sh. Dileep Sanghani as the Chairman of the company. The decision was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors during the company’s 47th Board Meeting held on May 1, 2026, at IFFCO Sadan, New Delhi.
Sh. Dileep Sanghani, who currently serves as Chairman of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), will now lead IFFCO-MC Crop Science as it strengthens its focus on innovation, sustainability, and farmer-centric agricultural solutions.
The appointment comes at a crucial time for India’s agriculture sector, which is witnessing rapid transformation through technological advancements, sustainable farming practices, and increased demand for higher farm productivity..
Dileep Sanghani’s Leadership Expected to Boost IFFCO-MC Growth
Sh. Sanghani is a veteran cooperative leader with more than three decades of experience in strengthening India’s cooperative movement. He currently holds key leadership positions in several national and state-level cooperative organizations, including NAFED, NCUI, and GUJCOMASOL.
He has also represented Gujarat’s Amreli constituency four times in the Lok Sabha between 1991 and 2004 and has served as an MLA in Gujarat. During his political and administrative career, he headed major ministries such as Agriculture, Cooperation, and Animal Husbandry.
IFFCO-MC said Sanghani has played a major role in shaping farmer-oriented policies at IFFCO and is expected to further strengthen the company’s mission of delivering advanced crop protection solutions and promoting sustainable agricultural growth across India.
