Gulshan Polyols Secures Additional Rs 146.66 Crore Ethanol Order from OMCs

New Delhi: Gulshan Polyols Limited has secured an additional ethanol allocation worth approximately Rs 146.66 crore from Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) for the fourth quarter of Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) 2025-26. Under the latest allocation, the company will supply 20,740 kilolitres (KL) of ethanol to OMCs for supplies in Assam and Madhya Pradesh.

The additional allocation is scheduled for execution during Q4 of ESY 2025-26, covering the period from April to June 2026. The order provides Gulshan Polyols with greater revenue visibility and reflects continued demand from OMCs for ethanol supplies under India's ethanol blending programme.

The company is engaged in the production and sale of ethanol and other chemical products. Ethanol has become an increasingly important part of India's fuel strategy as the government continues to promote higher ethanol blending with petrol to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and support the use of domestically produced renewable fuels.

The additional 20,740 KL allocation is expected to increase Gulshan Polyols' ethanol sales volume during the quarter and contribute positively to its revenue. Successful execution of the order will depend on the company's production capacity, operational efficiency and timely transportation of ethanol to the designated locations in Assam and Madhya Pradesh.

The development also highlights the continued opportunities for ethanol producers as India's ethanol blending programme expands. Other companies operating across the ethanol and biofuel value chain include Praj Industries, Triveni Engineering & Industries and GHCL.

Investors will be closely watching Gulshan Polyols' upcoming financial results to assess the revenue contribution from the additional allocation. Future ethanol procurement allocations, production capacity expansion and the company's ability to efficiently manage logistics will remain key factors to track
