Brazil’s expertise in ethanol blending and renewable diesel presents valuable opportunities to support India’s goals of reducing carbon emissions: Hardeep Puri
The Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas of India, H.E. Mr. Hardeep S. Puri, visited Brazil from September 19th to 21st at the invitation of Brazil’s Minister of Mines & Energy, H.E. Mr. Alexandre Silveira. He was accompanied by representatives from Indian oil and gas companies involved in both upstream and downstream sectors.
During the visit, the two sides assessed their ongoing collaboration in the energy sector, emphasizing Indian investments in upstream initiatives, the mutually beneficial nature of bilateral trade, and partnerships in sustainable fuels, particularly biofuels.
Discussions also commenced on potential cooperation in critical minerals and their value chains.
