Registration online for sugarcane farmers in UP extended till Oct 15

Lucknow, Sep 29 (UNI) In view of the large number of farmers yet to register and suggestions given by them, the last date for new online membership and filing declaration form has been extended till October 15 on the ERP’s website-enquiry.caneup.in.

Giving detailed information in this regard, Commissioner, Cane and Sugar, Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy informed here on Wednesday that presently cane farmers are filling their declaration forms online under the Smart Ganna Kisan (SGK) project.

“It was noticed that it is taking time to apply for new membership and filling the declaration forms together and the last date was very close, so the decision of extending last date has been taken,” he said.

Mr Bhoosreddy informed that taking quick cognizance of this problem of Cane farmers, the last date for online membership and filling of declaration forms for the crushing season 2021-22 has been extended from September 30 to October 15 in the interest of farmers.

With this decision, cane farmers will be facilitated and will not face any kind of difficulty while applying online.

It is also noteworthy that in order to facilitate the Cane farmers, the requirement of uploading Khatauni and photocopy of bank passbook as identity proof has already been stopped, so that farmers can easily apply for online membership.
