Gulshan Polyols’ Assam ethanol plant passes Quality Control parameters; commercial production expected to commence soon

Gulshan Polyols Limited’s Grain based Ethanol Plant has passed all the Quality Control parameters while conducting trial run for production of ethanol from its Plant of 250 KLPD capacity at Goalpara, District, Assam.

In a regulatory filing, company informed exchanges, “We are pleased to inform that, the Company, today has initiated and successfully achieved a milestone when its Grain based Ethanol Plant has passed all the Quality Control parameters while conducting Trial run for Production of Ethanol from its Plant of 250 KLPD Capacity at Goalpara, Distt. Assam. The Commercial production/operations of Ethanol shall commence after completion of few procedures/compliances with Oil Marketing Companies which may take around 15 days, after which commercial invoice will follow.”

A month ago, company was granted with a ‘Consent to Operate’ (CTO) from Pollution Control Board, Assam for same plant.
