Successful Demonstration of ‘Super 27’ Sugarcane Harvester in Uttar Pradesh Sugar Mills

Super Cane Harvester Machines Pvt. Ltd. recently conducted a successful live field demonstration of its “Super 27” sugarcane harvester at several sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh. The event was attended by a large number of farmers, sugar mill officials, and industry representatives who observed the machine’s performance under actual field conditions.

During the demonstration, the Super 27 harvester delivered smooth, fast, and efficient sugarcane harvesting. The machine significantly reduced the need for manual labour, saved valuable time, and improved overall harvesting efficiency. Farmers who attended the demonstration noted that the machine makes the harvesting process much easier and more reliable compared to traditional manual methods.

Sugar mill representatives also appreciated the clean and systematic harvesting carried out by the machine. They said that such mechanized harvesting helps ensure timely supply of cane to the mills, supporting smoother mill operations during the crushing season. The demonstration highlighted how modern mechanization can benefit both farmers and sugar mills, particularly during peak harvesting periods when labour shortages often become a challenge.

Step Towards Full Mechanization in Sugarcane Farming

In a major step towards full mechanization in sugarcane farming, Wave Industries Pvt. Ltd. successfully demonstrated India’s first whole cane harvester in collaboration with Super Cane Harvester. The initiative aligns with the vision of the company’s Managing Director, Shri D.S. Bindra, who aims to achieve complete mechanization in sugarcane cultivation—from planting to harvesting.

The demonstration was held at Village Chanderu on the farm of progressive farmer Shri Ram Khelawan. The event was organized to introduce farmers and industry stakeholders to advanced mechanized technology designed to make sugarcane cultivation more efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable.

The program was attended by several senior officials and industry representatives. Shri V.K. Shukla, Additional Cane Commissioner, was the chief guest, while Shri Anil Bharti, District Cane Officer (Bulandshahr), was also present on the occasion. Senior officials from Wave Industries including Shri Manoj Singh, Vice President; Shri Ranveer Dhaka, CGM; Shri Saim Ansari, GM (Cane); and Shri Ram Gopal Singh, AGM and Head of Cane Development, participated in the event. Several General Managers (Cane) from different sugar mills were also present.

Positive Feedback from Farmers and Sugar Mills

Farmers expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Super 27 harvester, stating that it reduces physical effort and operational challenges in the field. Sugar mill officials emphasized that the adoption of advanced machinery can help overcome labour shortages and improve productivity across the sugarcane sector.

Message from the Managing Director

Managing Director Mr. Rakesh Jangid said that the company remains committed to bringing modern and efficient harvesting solutions to the sugarcane industry, helping farmers reduce costs while improving operational efficiency for sugar mills.
