Bihar has taken a major step to boost its sugar industry and rural economy by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under its “Saat Nischay-3” vision, aimed at building a stronger and more prosperous state.
The MoU was signed between the state’s Sugar Industry Department and National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Limited, based in New Delhi. The partnership focuses on promoting and expanding sugarcane-based industries across Bihar.
Focus on Growth and Employment
This initiative is expected to:

- Improve income and prospects for sugarcane farmers
