Mawana: The Mawana Sugar Mill has released sugarcane payments worth ₹28.42 crore for cane supplied between January 17 and January 23. The amount has been transferred to the concerned cooperative societies and is expected to reach farmers’ bank accounts shortly.
According to Pramod Balyan, Senior General Manager (Cane and Administration), the mill has so far paid a total of ₹377.69 crore for sugarcane purchased up to January 23.
On February 2, the mill issued payment advice for the 2025–26 crushing season, covering cane supplied during the January 17–23 period, and sent ₹28.42 crore to the respective societies.
The Mawana Sugar Mill has crushed a total of 106.08 lakh quintals of sugarcane so far this season, up to February 2.
