India Energy Week 24: Shaping the Future of Energy

Unveiling Innovations, Investments, and Collaborations in India's Energy Landscape

India Energy Week 24, taking place from February 6-9 in Goa, anticipates the participation of 17 energy ministers from diverse nations, with over 35,000 attendees and 900+ exhibitors, as announced by Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri.

The event will feature six country pavilions, including Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, the UK, and the US. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will engage in a roundtable with oil and gas CEOs, along with India-US investment discussions.

A special Make in India Pavilion with 300+ exhibitors will showcase innovative solutions by Indian MSMEs in the energy sector. The event, standing out in the global energy landscape, highlights India’s economic strength, growing consumption, and favorable investment climate. IEW-24 has extended to four days, featuring 46 strategic sessions and 46 technical sessions—double the previous year.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas organized an event, “Energy Startups: Driving the Energy Future,” promoting energy independence and India’s robust startup ecosystem. The startup challenge, ‘Avinya,’ selected five startups out of 120 applications, offering mentorship opportunities and a chance to showcase at India Energy Week’24.

Side events aligning with India’s G20 priorities, covering themes like Global South Cooperation and Carbon Capture and Utilisation, are planned. As the world’s third-largest oil importer and consumer, India relies on global crude oil sources to meet domestic demand.
