In a proud moment for the cooperative and sugar industries, Bipindada Kolhe, Chairman of the Sanjivani Group of Industries, has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award 2025 by the Sugar Technologists’ Association of India (STAI). The award was presented last week at a ceremony in New Delhi.
Kolhe was recognized for his lifelong commitment to the sugar industry and his tireless efforts to support and uplift farmers. Known for his forward-thinking leadership, in-depth industry knowledge, and strong organizational skills, Kolhe has played a key role in strengthening India’s cooperative movement.
His son, Vivek Kolhe, who serves as a Director on the board of IFFCO, shared his pride in a heartfelt message, saying, “As a son, I feel immensely proud of the multifaceted personality that my father embodies. His devotion to farmers’ progress and his pioneering role in strengthening the cooperative sector is truly inspiring.”
The award ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Shri Harshvardhan Patil, Sanjay Awasthi, Ranjit Puri, Chinnappan, Jayant Patil, Sambha Kadu Patil, and Dr. Seema Paroha.
The recognition is seen as a moment of pride not only for the Sanjivani Group and the sugar sector but also for the people of Kopargaon and the wider farming community.
