Triveni Power Transmission Shares List on BSE and NSE Following Demerger from Triveni Engineering

Triveni Power Transmission Limited (TPTL), a leading manufacturer of high-speed gearboxes and engineered power transmission solutions, has commenced trading on the BSE and National Stock Exchange (NSE), marking a significant milestone in its transition into an independently listed company. The listing follows the demerger of the Power Transmission Business (PTB) of Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited (TEIL), enabling the business to pursue a focused growth strategy and operate with greater strategic and financial independence.

The demerger was implemented under a Composite Scheme of Arrangement approved by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). The scheme became effective on May 19, 2026, with April 1, 2026, designated as the appointed date. Under the arrangement, eligible shareholders of Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited received one fully paid-up equity share of Triveni Power Transmission Limited, with a face value of ₹2, for every three fully paid-up equity shares of TEIL held as of the July 22, 2026, record date.

Triveni Power Transmission has listed 10,47,54,338 fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of ₹2 each. The company's shares are traded on the BSE under scrip code 544824, with the trading symbol TRIVENIPT and ISIN INE2WKE01011.

Commenting on the listing, Tarun Sawhney, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Triveni Power Transmission Limited, said the development represents an important strategic milestone for the company. He noted that the demerger and independent listing would enable sharper business focus, greater transparency in performance evaluation and independent growth opportunities, while creating the potential for long-term shareholder value creation.

Sawhney added that the company intends to pursue its growth agenda through disciplined capital allocation and investments in technology, talent and engineering capabilities. Building on its established engineering expertise, TPTL plans to strengthen its presence across industrial, marine and defence applications while focusing on sustainable growth and long-term stakeholder value.

The independent listing allows Triveni Power Transmission to align its business strategy, capital investment priorities and operational capabilities more closely with opportunities in the power transmission sector. Its product and service portfolio includes high-speed and specialised low-speed gearboxes, aftermarket services, refurbishment, equipment upgrades and lifecycle support for critical industrial applications.

Rajiv Rajpal, Chief Executive Officer of Triveni Power Transmission Limited, described the listing as a defining moment for the company and its employees. With more than five decades of experience in power transmission engineering, TPTL aims to build on its established capabilities by delivering reliable, application-specific solutions, expanding lifecycle support for its installed equipment base and strengthening its position in high-value industrial and defence markets. He added that the listing provides a platform to accelerate the company's next phase of growth.

Triveni Power Transmission serves global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies, and industrial customers across multiple sectors, including power generation, oil and gas, chemicals and fertilisers, steel, cement, sugar and distillery, marine and defence. Its integrated business model covers new equipment manufacturing, retrofits, replacements, upgrades, refurbishment and long-term aftermarket services.

With its shares now listed independently on the BSE and NSE, Triveni Power Transmission Limited aims to strengthen its market position, sharpen its operational focus and pursue new opportunities across domestic and international markets.
