Hasanpur Sugar Mill has launched a major 51-point campaign to promote autumn sugarcane planting across its operational area. The campaign began on Friday with sugarcane planting activities in several villages, with the objective of encouraging farmers to adopt timely planting and improve sugarcane production for the upcoming crushing season.
The campaign was formally inaugurated after a prayer ceremony and Vedic rituals at the sugar mill gate. General Manager (Cane) Arun Kumar Srivastava and Deputy General Manager (Cane) Ramashankar Prasad, along with other managers and officials, left for different pre-determined areas to oversee the plantation drive. 
Executive Chairman Ashok Kumar Mittal inaugurated the campaign by participating in sugarcane planting at several farmers' fields. In Korai village under the Gate-A zone, sugarcane variety COJ 85 was planted on 0.40 acre of farmer Sanjeev Kumar's field. Planting of variety CO 0118 was also carried out on 0.40 acre of farmer Harishankar Yadav's field in Dihi village. The campaign was further extended to farmers' fields in Bad Bakhadda, Sawant and Narayan Piper, including those of Mithilesh Kumar, Raj Kumar Yadav, Dinesh Paswan, Hira Lal Mahto and Vimla Devi.
Executive Vice President Sarbjeet Saini launched the plantation drive in the Gate-C zone by planting sugarcane at the field of farmer Sushil Kumar in Rampur Kachahari under the Nayanagar circle. Officials also conducted planting activities in villages associated with different circles of the Samastipur zone.
Deputy General Manager (Cane) Ramashankar Prasad participated in the campaign at various villages in the Samastipur zone and at Amarapur village under the Sonbarsa circle, where sugarcane was planted in the field of farmer Nitish Kumar. 
Speaking on the occasion, Executive Chairman Ashok Kumar Mittal said the Hasanpur Sugar Mill had formally started its autumn sugarcane planting campaign across its operational area. The initiative is aimed at encouraging farmers to increase sugarcane cultivation and adopt recommended planting practices.
Deputy General Manager (Cane) Ramashankar Prasad said registration for the distribution of urea fertiliser has also started on the Agriculture Department's portal. The mill's cane advisory and management teams are coordinating with farmers to support the autumn planting programme.
The campaign was attended by Cane Advisor Shambhu Prasad Rai, Senior Manager (Cane) M.A. Khan, managers Amit Kumar, Pramod Mani Tripathi, Sushil Kumar Singh, Ramakrishna Prasad, Atul Kumar Mishra, Vipul Kumar, Sarthak Tiwari, Rohit Kumar, Manoj Kumar Mahto, Ranjit Kumar, Raman Kumar Singh, Shravan Kumar Chaubey, Anil Kashyap, Ramnath Singh and other officials.
