Dhanuka Agritech Limited, one of India’s leading agrochemical companies, has reported a strong financial performance for the second quarter of FY27, with net profit rising 16.23% year-on-year to ₹109.22 crore. Revenue from operations increased 9.91% to ₹657.51 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹598.25 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The company’s profit growth outpaced revenue expansion, reflecting improved profitability during the July–September quarter.
The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased 16.27% to ₹146.47 crore, against ₹125.97 crore in Q2 FY26. EBITDA grew 11.88% year-on-year to ₹152.97 crore, indicating continued improvement in operating performance. Gross profit stood at ₹270.77 crore, registering growth of 6.62% compared with the year-ago period.
However, Dhanuka Agritech’s gross profit margin moderated to 41.18% in Q2 FY27 from 42.45% in the corresponding quarter last year. Despite the moderation in gross margin, the company recorded double-digit growth in EBITDA, PBT and net profit, highlighting its improved overall profitability.
Commenting on the quarterly performance, Rahul Dhanuka, Managing Director of Dhanuka Agritech Limited, said the expansion in profitability was supported by healthy channel inventory liquidation and steady demand during the autumn farming cycle. He added that the company remains focused on developing a sustainable and innovation-led growth platform.
Dhanuka highlighted the opportunities emerging in India's agricultural sector, particularly in improving crop productivity, expanding advanced crop protection solutions and encouraging the adoption of innovative agricultural technologies. The company plans to strengthen its product portfolio, deepen engagement with farmers and expand its market presence to support long-term growth.
The agrochemical company also emphasised the importance of continued investment in innovation and farmer-centric solutions as key drivers of its business strategy. With changing agricultural requirements and increasing demand for effective crop protection products, the company aims to build a stronger market position through technology-led offerings and customer engagement.
The unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026, were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting held on October 30, 2026. Dhanuka Agritech's Q2 FY27 performance reflects healthy revenue growth alongside stronger profit expansion, positioning the company for continued focus on innovation and operational efficiency.
