Dhanuka Agritech launches Wetcit Neo biosolution adjuvant to improve spray efficiency

Dhanuka Agritech Limited has launched Wetcit Neo, a plant-based biosolution adjuvant designed to improve the application efficiency of crop protection and crop nutrition products. The new agricultural solution is aimed at helping farmers achieve better spray coverage, reduce spray drift and improve the absorption of crop protection products, particularly on crops with waxy leaf surfaces.

According to Dhanuka Agritech, efficient application of agricultural inputs is important for achieving better results from crop protection and crop nutrition practices. Wetcit Neo has been developed to address challenges associated with spray spreading, coverage and absorption. The company said its plant-based technology can help improve the performance of spray applications by enabling agricultural inputs to reach plant surfaces more effectively.

Wetcit Neo is categorised as a biosolution and is formulated to reduce the surface tension of spray water. This allows spray droplets to spread more uniformly across plant surfaces and adhere more effectively, rather than rolling off. The technology is particularly relevant for crops where waxy leaf surfaces can restrict the contact and absorption of conventional spray solutions.

The adjuvant is designed to improve contact between spray solutions and plant surfaces, supporting the effective application of crop protection products used against insects and fungal diseases. Dhanuka Agritech said Wetcit Neo is compatible with a range of existing agrochemical formulations, offering flexibility for different agricultural spray applications, subject to product-label recommendations.

The launch of Wetcit Neo further expands Dhanuka Agritech’s crop solutions portfolio and reflects the company’s focus on technologies that can improve agricultural input application. By supporting better spray spreading, coverage and absorption, the company aims to help farmers optimise the use of crop protection and nutrition products while addressing different crop management challenges.
