Dhampur Sugar Mill has started preparations for the upcoming sugarcane crushing season with the installation of weighbridges at its cane procurement centres. A ceremonial puja of the weighbridge centre was performed at the Dhampur Sugar Mill premises on Friday as part of the preparations for the new crushing season.
The puja was conducted by Mill Vice President Ashish Sharma, Assistant Vice Presidents Sanjeev Kumar and Vijay Gupta, DGM Karuna Agarwal, and Senior Cane Managers Manoj Chauhan and Surendra Singh. The ceremony marked the beginning of the installation work for weighbridges at the mill's cane procurement centres.
The installation of weighbridges began on Friday at all 179 Dhampur Sugar Mill centres. The mill management has set a target of completing the work within 20 days so that sugarcane weighing operations can begin on time before the start of the crushing season. Timely installation and testing of the weighing equipment are part of the mill's preparations to ensure smooth cane procurement and reduce delays for farmers.
Cane managers Puneet Chauhan and Dinesh Rajput, along with Sanjeev Kumar, Devendra Kumar and other mill staff, were also present during the ceremony. The mill management is carrying out the necessary arrangements ahead of the new crushing season to facilitate efficient sugarcane procurement and weighing operations for growers.
