Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd. announced its results for the quarter ended December 2021 and reported a significant growth in revenues and profits for the quarter, following which its stock jumped by 13.57%. It has touched a day’s high of Rs 266 so far.
The company reported revenue of Rs 617.62 crore for Q3 FY’22 as against Rs 433.26 crore for Q3 FY’21, reporting growth of 42.55% YoY. Its revenue for the 9M period ended December 2021 was reported at Rs 1,543.94 crore as against Rs 1,265.23 crore for the previous 9M period, registering a growth of 22.02% YoY.
Its total income for the December 2021 quarter stood at Rs 619.91 crore as against Rs 434.77 crore for the previous corresponding quarter. While total income for the 9M period ended December 2021 stood at Rs 1,551.92 crore as compared to Rs 1,270.15 crore, reflecting a growth of 22.18% YoY.
Its PAT increased by 235.29% YoY at Rs 39.23 crore for Q3 FY’22 as against Rs 11.70 crore for the same quarter last year. Company’s PAT for the 9M period ended December 2021 stood at Rs 73.86 crores as against Rs 31.93 crore for the corresponding 9M period, reflecting a growth of 131% year-on-year.
