Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals has announced operational data of its sugar factories for August 2021. The company’s stock will be in focus on Thursday amid the operational performance.
As per the regulatory filing, in the Unit-1 of Varadarajnagar, Theni District, the company recorded sugar production of 2,633MTs in August 2021 rising from 1,922MTs against the same month last year. Sugar sales however declined to 1,696MTs in the latest month against the 2,439MTs in August last year.
In the Unit-1, the company’s molasses production was at 1,727MTs in August 2021, while its own consumption and sales stood at 102MTs. Under congeneration, the company generated power of 10.06 lakh units and captive consumption was at 10.06 lakh units as well.
Furthermore, in Unit-2 MUNDIYAMPAKKAM, VIKRAVANDI TALUK, VILTUPURAM DISTRICT, Rajshree Sugars posted a rise in sugar production and sales to 7,345MTs and 3,711MTs in August 2021 against 5,425MTs and 3,111MTs recorded last year same month.
Under the Unit-2, in the molasses category, the company’s production and own consumption & sales stand at 4,345 MTs and 3,672 MTs respectively in August 2021. In the cogeneration category, in August 2021, the company’s power generated, captive consumption and export to Grid were at 119.24 lakh units, 33.34 lakh units and 85.90 lakh units respectively.
Meanwhile, in the Unit-3, SEMMEDU VILLAGE, GINGEE TALUK, VILLUPURAM DISTRICT, the company recorded sugar production of 5,721 MTs in August 2021, while sales skyrocketed to 3,336MTs compared to 1,037MTs of August 2020.
In the Unit-3, in the molasses category, the company witnessed the production of 3,590MTs and Own consumption & sales of 3,600MTs in August 2021. As for the cogeneration, the company registered power generation, captive consumption and export to Grid of 91.14 lakh units, 41.23 lakh units and 49.91 lakh units in August 2021.
On Wednesday, the company’s stock finished at Rs27.75 per piece up 0.9%.
