In the supplementary budget, the Uttar Pradesh Government has made a loan arrangement for the sugar mill of the Co-operative Sugar Mills Association to make the payment of due cane price of farmers. Through this, the state government is going to give further impetus to sugarcane yield and the sugar production in the state.
Among the biggest policy triumphs of the Yogi Government in Uttar Pradesh has been it’s resolve to transform the lives of farmers and making them self-reliant and prosperous.

The payment made by the BJP-led UP government is twice the amount that was made by the former Bahujan Samaj Party government and 1.5 times more than the Samajwadi Party government.
As soon as the Yogi Government came to power, it changed the fate of sugarcane farmers by making a record payment. There are more than 45.74 lakh sugarcane supplier farmers in the state and about 67 lakh farmers are associated with sugarcane cultivation.
